Shock travelled to Bristol for the first trophy game against Mavericks. The home side start with a 23 point handicap advantage.

Mavericks come out strong in the first quarter out scoring the away side.

Frost started the second quarter with a flurry of fast breaks scoring 9 points in 4 minutes! The strong press held the home side scoring and Shock clawed back the deficit a little!

The third quarter is always Shock’s weakest and it showed here! Mavericks put up a good fight and out scored the travelling team.

A good talking to between the last quarters saw Shock come out hard with lots of interceptions and fast breaks. The defence was strong and Shock hustled hard. Mavericks only scored 2 points in the last quarter whilst Shock scored 23!

The road team came away with the win, 66-59.
